Setup Unattended Access

By enabling "Enable Unattended Access", a prompt will appear where the user can set the password used for Unattended Access. An existing password can be changed by clicking "Set password for unattended access".

To Enable Unattended Access

Windows: Settings / Permissions
MacOS: Preferences / Permissions
Linux: Settings / Permissions
  • Then select "Permission Profiles"
  • Select "Unattended Access" on the left, and then "Enable Unattended Access".
  • You will now be prompted to enter a strong password. At least 8 characters, and should include upper case, lower case, numbers and symbols.
  • You will need to confirm the password, then click Change Password to set the password.
  • Now close the preferences.

Install as a service

From the AnyDesk Menu, select "Install as a Service" and follow the instruction on-screen to complete this process.

Important

Remote Support will only work when the computer is turned on. If you're setting up remote access on a laptop of PC that goes to sleep, be sure to disable sleep and ensure laptops are on mains power.
