The GEN Portal - Account


In this section you have access to past quotations, invoices and visibility of any pending charges from tickets or consultancy. You may view any document by clicking the reference which is underlined with a orange dashed line. 

Once open, you are able to view the entire document on the screen, or leverage the buttons on the top right to save it as HTML, Print it (to PDF or a physical printer) to close. 

REMEMBER: We would very much encourage customers to not print documents, there shouldn't be any need in the 21st century and these documents are sent via email, available and available to save as HTML. 

Quotations

Have a limited validity (as shown on the quotation) but we will re-quote you upon request with a few clicks of a mouse. Expires quotations are still visible for a period but eventually fall off the screen. 

Invoices

Invoices remain visible for a period of 90 days after they have been settled. The finance department are of course able to furnish you with copies going back 5 years if needed. 

Pending Charges

All the Ticket you have in progress accrew charges, and whether you pre-pay or payg these charges are shown here. If you have sufficient credit and are pre-paying then the Pending Charges will never become an invoice (You can check your credit in the Services Tab), otherwise when the ticket is closed, the system will convert the charge into an invoice. 

For Consultancy, Arbitration, or other non-support work, pending charges shows the current charge, and these are usually converted to invoices at the end of the day.
