The GEN Portal - Monitor

The oversight infrastructure monitoring service, provided to support and maintenance customers, is available to see in this tab. See https://www.gen.uk/index.php?page=Support&option=Monitoring  for more information. 

You can see the monitors, which are individual sensors, the address, type, last seen, status, whether it's considered critical, the service level for that sensor and the number of alerts. 

Active Alerts

Shows the currently active alerts and where applicable the ticket number assigned to that alert. 

Alert History

Shows a historical record of all alerts created on this account. The information shown is dynamic depending on the type of alert and the cause. 

HelpDesk

The GEN NOC monitors ALL alerts across our support and maintenance customers, and that incldues yellow and orange, and they can optionally convert those into tickets if they consider the need. Red alerts always generate tickets and are immediately assigned to the most applicable team to handle. 

If you feel that an alert should be looked at then simply raise it as a ticket and we'll be on that.
