GEN Secure Storage

Is a system that allows multiple people to access secure storage on the Internet to exchange large files and data. 

Once you have a GEN SS Account and password (and optional 2FA) then you can access your shared storage in the following ways:

Web

https://archive.gen.net.uk:7001 and login with your credentials to use the web interface to access your files. 

WebDAV

If Enabled, WebDAV can be used to access your files using 
https://archive.gen.net.uk:64501 - BUT remember that WebDAV is less secure, which is why it's not enabled by default. 

SFTP

If Enabled, you can SFTP to archive.gen.net.uk and connect to your files using the same credentials. We support FTP, SFTP and FTPS. 

RSYNC

If Enabled, you can sync your shared storage using rsync over SSH but this does present some challenges and should be considered carefully before deploying.
