Error 554 when trying to send outside of GEN
Last Updated 9 years ago

SMTP error 554 is one of the more vague error codes, but is typically caused by the receiving server seeing something in the From or To headers that it doesn't like. This can be caused by a spam trap, blacklisting, grey listing, or indeed any configured policy on the receiving server.

To resolve contact the receiving organisation and request they look into it. Sending a full copy of the bounce back would help them considerably.
