For Windows, after you've created and/or authorised your account, you will need to install the client.
Browse to https://gen.direct/nb
Download the Windows Client
Run the installer you just downloaded
Start the NetBird UI, which you will find in the task bar to the right.
Select the NetBird Icon, then Settings, then Advanced Settings
Set the Management URL to https://bird.gen.network and hit SAVE.
Now click Connect
A browser window will open, and you should login using the username/password you registered, or was provided to you. Once you've done that the following message will be displayed.
At this point you can close the browser window and you are authenticated.
Now you can access the resources allocated to you on the platform. That could be servers, shares, Remote Desktops etc. These are defined by your IT team.
If you have any issues connecting to something remotely over GENAccess then in the first instance raise a case with your IT department, who can escalate to GEN if needed.
