Frequently Asked Question

JML - Joiners, Movers and Leavers Process
Last Updated about an hour ago

Overview

The JML process is an external workflow managed by your organisation to add, move, or remove users who have HelpDesk access. It is not part of GEN’s internal processes. Your team must raise a HelpDesk ticket  with the topic of JML, to trigger the change, and you are responsible for ensuring all access permissions are up‑to‑date for current staff.

Roles and Responsibilities

You will need to define who in your organisation will be ultimately responsible for managing this process.

Step‑by‑Step Procedure

  1. Identify the change
  2. Create a HelpDesk Ticket - Topic JML
  3. Define the users (email addresses) to be joining (to be created) or leaving (to be removed)
  4. Follow up with this ticket and ensure it is actioned.

Security Incident

In the event of a security incident at your company or organisation, create a ticket (topic JML) and ask that all users be suspended (not deleted).

Then raise the incident using the incident response form at
