For MacOS, first download the applicable Netbird package by visiting https://gen.direct/nb 

Run the downloaded .dmg or .pkg installer.

Launch the NetBird application.

Navigate to Settings > Advanced Settings.

Set the Management URL to https://bird.gen.network and save.

Click Connect and authenticate via the browser using your provided credentials.

IMPORTANT: 

After you have authenticated, it may return an error if this is the very first time you've connected to GENAccess via NetBird - this is because of dual approval. Contact your IT Department, Upstream, or GEN via the HelpDesk to be approved.
